噂によると、イヴが楽園を追い出されたのは、禁断の果実を食べたがためではなく、聖書に記された男女の概念をかき乱したことによる。
イヴOGウォマンは世界を旅する。出会った人々ときらめきを分かち合うために。
イヴOGウォマンは、服装倒錯の科学者タナー・バイナーが生み出した女性のペルソナである。
タナー・バイヤーはトーマス・J・ワトソン奨学金――アメリカ国外での独立した研究プロジェクトへの権威ある奨学制度――を受けている。研究テーマは、女性的な化粧や衣装、パフォーマンスアートを男性の体へ投影すること、その探求である。
研究に打ち込む中、蓄積された経験と個人的な物語は、将来手掛けることとなるドラァグアートへの啓発となり、世界中でのジェンダー論を活性化させたのである。

EVE OG WOMAN blurs the lines between perceptions of male and female. Her platinum-blonde style has been described as both absurd and arousing, leaving audiences screaming, “YAAAASSSSSSSSS QUEEN!” It’s rumored that Eve was not kicked out of the garden of Eden for biting into the forbidden fruit, but for disturbing ideas in the Bible of what it means to be a man or a woman and suggesting that someone could be both. EVE OG WOMAN is starting her world tour, sharing her sparkle with everyone she encounters along the way.
EVE OG WOMAN is the feminine persona conceived by Tanner Byer, a cross-dressing scientist. Tanner Byer is the recipient of the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship, a prestigious award funding an independent research project outside of the United States. Byer’s project explores projections of femininity onto masculine bodies through makeup, costume design, and performance art. The experiences and personal narratives collected from his Watson year will go on to inspire and influence Byer’s future drag artistry and help to increase discussion around the world about the rigid gender binary of male and female.
