    Eva is the leader of the Japanese burlesque troupe
    MURASAKI BABYDOLLS.
    She has directed and choreographed Muraskai Babydoll since 2003.
    As a teenager she was a rhythmic gymnastics player and after High School
    she learned contemporary dance and Botoh at University.
    She describes her style as an old musical with a fever.
    In 2007 Violet Eva won “Best Debut”act at the Exotic World Competition
    in Las Vegas.

    The next Dr. Sketchy’s is TUESDAY 21st

    Doors open at 6:30pm

    Dr. Sketchy’s is currently in the process of doing some major fund raising to host our very first gallery opening next month. We’ve teamed up with our March model, Dirty Dancing Diana to share a booth and sell Dr. Sketchy’s very own brand named sinfully sexy stockings and tights that would make any Harajuku girl squeal with delight! Come on out and support this Saturday as we sell in the name of art. Lady Elle will bring her hoops and dance for attention while Dirty Diana laughs without abandon.

    Don’t miss the Dr. Sketchy’s sale happening at the Flea Market in Shinjuku Chuo Koen (park) just in front of the fountain.

  • September Success

    The September session was a rip roaring success. There were more new faces than ever before and inspiration flowed abundant as Safi played a saultry seductive muse.

    Cherry Typhoon made her MC debut and had the crowd in absolute stitches as she narrated the story of “Safi and The Big Boobies” and the mood was just right as DJ DaiLight spun the perfect mix of right brain rhythms that kept the pencils scratching the pad well into the night!

    If you didn’t make it this time around the next Dr. Sketchy’s is October 21st at The Pink Cow. That’s a TUESDAY for all you regulars out there (an irregular night because it’s Halloween season!)

    Theme is TBD at the moment but most likely will have something to do with Halloween!

    Due to the lack of leadership within the Bush Administration, inflation, Darfur, the housing market crash of 07, the war in Iraq, global warming, Posh Spice’s cosmetic surgery expenditures, the new Facebook interface and Condoleeza Rice’s perpetually bad helmet hair Dr. Sketchy’s Tokyo has had to raise our cost of entry.

    Seriously though, we are expanding and growing and becoming bigger, better and more bad ass and as everyone knows that costs a few extra yen in this town. For 2000 smackers you still get a free drink a chance to win some cool prizes and a damn good show. The caliber of models has always been high but now it’s through the freakin roof and we think you’ll agree Dr. Sketchy’s Tokyo has now gone pro (in terms of production) amateur and first time artists are always welcome.

    This is a price hike you won’t regret. I pinky swear!

  • Calling all Set Designers

    In an attempt to take Dr. Sketchy’s to the next level we are calling all set designers to spice up our bare stage . If you’ve ever been to Dr. Sketchy’s Tokyo you know that Lady Elle pretty much finds a piece of fabric drapes it over whatever happens to be on the stage that night and calls it a day! This simply won’t do anymore. You the Artist deserve better. So it is with Obama-like fervor that  I’m make this sweeping declarative statement to all Set Designers “Yes We Can!” and WE WILL join me friends, designers, artists and submit your ideas for the best Set a shoe-string budget can offer.
