    Dr. Sketchy’s Tokyo Presents: Acco

     

    Acco has appeared on various stages as a cult model and is well known among maniacs. Her unusual career has become the subject of a book of Photography by photographer / writer Shinya Fujiwara. Her debut performance as a dancer was at SUMMER SONIC in 2005 where she returned in 2006. At root her dance can be considered a mixture of pole, belly and Latin styles with an act and dress informed by her own decadent aesthetics. Her burlesque performance is based on a myriad of experiences which include swing, mambo, garage, exotica, kayokyoku, funk and blues with a selection of music which can only be described as unique.

     

    ACCO

    カルト・モデルとして様々なショーに出演。

    また写真文筆家・藤原新也氏の写真集に抜擢される等

    異色な活動軌跡を持つ。

    「SUMMER SONIC」（０５、０６年）出演を契機にダンサーデビュ。

    デカタンスな美意識に裏着けされた”いでだち”と”立ち振舞い” で

    ポール、ベリー、ラテンを操る。

    更にそれらをベースにバーレスクをスタートした。

    スウィング、マンボ、ガラージ、エキゾチカ、歌謡曲、ファンク、ブルース等‥。

    特に音選びはユニークである。

    Japanese boylesque performer Gilbert de Moccos (also of the Murasaki Baby Dolls) is about to make his first ever appearance at Dr. Sketchy’s!
    Internationally acclaimed Gilbert is getting ready to go nuts in the sweaty August heat. But he promises to stand still when it’s sketch time (promised to try anyway).

    Get ready for a sultry summer carnival!

    Odile studied ballet as a child and has performed in many musicals, plays and dances. In November 2011, she made her debut as a burlesque dancer and since then has been involved in many leading performances such as 「C’est Magnifique!」, 「Girlesque!Expo2014」in Toronto and Montreal, and 2014年6月、Fringe Montreal『Cherry Typhoon & Her Burlesque Ninja!』among others.

    夏の盛りに近づき、ドクター・スケチーズにも熱波〜６月のモデル、Haruka Delsoleをご紹介します！

    Haruka Delsole has been active in a performance unit since 2007, and struck out on her solo career as a burlesque performer in 2011. Currently she performs throughout Japan and Asia from her regular base in Hong Kong. Haruka’s performances have their routes in hiphop dance. Watch out as she uses the confidence acquired on the big stage as a weapon!

    2007年からパフォーマンスユニットとして活動し、国内外問わず数々のアーティストのバックダンサー、ステージダンサー、PV出演。 2011年からソロでバーレスクパフォーマンスを開始。日本のみならずアジアにも活動の幅を広げ、現在は香港を拠点にバーレスクダンサー、モデルとして活動中。 HIPHOPを基盤とした高いダンススキル、また大舞台で培った度胸を武器に注目を集める。

    This month we are delighted to welcome back Dolly Tartan – the pocket-sized pin-up princess from Glasgow, Scotland! Performing burlesque for over 6 years now, Dolly has had the pleasure of performing internationally, and has built a large fan-base around the world. Known for her cute, cheeky routines, she has been said to have a smile to die for and a body to kill for. Following her recent stay in Japan, Dolly is back for a brief Spring Fling. Appearing at shows with Violet Eva, Miwa Rock and Daisy Flapper, Dolly is sure to put a smile on your face, and love in your heart.
