    You don’t need to be an artist or know how to sketch to come and enjoy the show and! Just bring pad and pencils to Gyoen Rosso on the first Thursday of each month if you want to try!

    BAMBOO is a Filipina-American International ☆ STAR ☆ shining bright in Japan. In Asia, she has performed in Shanghai China, and throughout Japan – including Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, Mie, Enoshima, Okazaki, and more!
    She has shaken her tail feather for special events for ~ Grand Marnier, Adobe, Benefit Cosmetics, Aveda, Candor Cabaret and the Pearl in Shanghai, the Philippine Consulate of San Francisco, and more. Her smile and sparkly décolletage has been featured on the front page of Spanish-language newspaper, El Mensajero!
    She started her burlesque career in Yelamu Territory (San Francisco), as a member of the award-winning troupe the “Hot Pink Feathers,” as a performer of the “Hubba Hubba Revue” andensemble member of “Burlesque Moulin.”
    In 2021, she became a regular burlesque performer and feather fan dance instructor at the internationally known, intimate cabaret, AFTER PARTY TOKYO, in Kabukicho, Shinjuku. She was also the co-host and lead cast member of their monthly online show, which reached audiences in France, Australia, South Korea, the Philippines, the U.S., and around the world!
    She has performed at festivals like Tease-o-Rama, the Humboldt Burlesque Expo, the Southwest Burlesque Showcase, and, most recently at the Ohio International Burlesque Festival.
    In 2023, she returned to more stages in the Americas, Europe, around the WORLD, and is now back in Japan you!

    Veruska Puff is an italian burlesque performer, retro model and artistic director.

    She supervises all aspects of her image and burlesque shows: costumes, music, set design and coreographies. Since 2009 she brings on stage her seductive and graceful idea of burlesque all around the world (Italy, Greece, Holland, Portugal, Germany, England, United States, Czech Republic and Poland).
    Veruska Puff arrives in the world of burlesque after more than 10 years of classical ballet study and has a degree in communication sciences with a specialization in Mass Communication.
    Thanks to burlesque and her elegant image of old-timey woman she reached various sectors of art and showbiz: from photography to fashion, from tv to theatre, from cinema to painting.

    This month: Queen of Carnaval SF 2008, the exuberant Kellita descends from a long line of sassy entertainers. She shares her verve and sparkle far and wide, recently adding Rome, Zurich and Paris to a dizzying list of North American cities. She is a 5-time finalist at the Burlesque Hall of Fame (in solo, duet and troupe category). Named Little Miss Aftershock for her outstanding shimmy shake at the Miss Exotic World pageant (’02), Kellita is also the proud recipient of 2 Golden Pasties from the New York Burlesque festival: Best Derriere (’04) and Most Sensual (’09). She is the founder of Hot Pink Feathers Dance Company & Showgirl Academy, through which she has awakened 100’s of showgirls worldwide.

    バーレスクの世界的殿堂「バーレスク・ホール・オブ・フェイム(BHOF)」では、ソロはもちろんデュオ、チームなどを含め5度の 優勝候補ノミネートに輝き、2002年の同大会では、その驚異的なシミー技から、「余震娘（Little Miss Aftershock）」の異名を獲得。さらに、「ニューヨーク・バーレスク・フェスティバル」名物の「ゴールデン・ペイスティ大賞」では「Best Derriere(’04)」および「Most Sensual(’09)」の2冠に輝いている。

    Dolly Tartan is a pocket-sized pin-up princess and burlesque performer from Glasgow in Scotland! With a background in classical music and ballet, she started performing burlesque in 2007, and since then has performed at hundreds of shows across Britain, and now in Tokyo too. Cute, cheeky, fun and unique, she is best-known for her infamous Marie Antoinette routine, and her high-energy ‘Shake Your Tailfeathers’ jive.

    Dr. Sketchy’s Tokyo presents

    Montreal`s Burlesque Queen

    Miss Sugarpuss is thrilled to be able to bring her special brand of seductive sweetness to the folks here in Nihon! Though this is her second visit to beautiful Tokyo, it will be her first Japanese Dr. Sketchy`s experience! A burlesque performer since 2004, Miss Sugarpuss has written, produced, directed and starred in oodles of burlesque plays and cabaret nights, both independently and with Team Burlesque, a collective network which she co-founded along with Seska Lee and L. Diablo, also from Montreal. Miss Sugarpuss now teaches burlesque classes and has several more projects on the go. She hopes to return to Tokyo often and is excited to meet you! Yatta!

  • Accepting all Submissions

    Planning for Dr. Sketchy’s big November 22nd Cabaret/Gallery Exhibition at La Boheme on Kotto-Dori in Aoyama is well underway and now is YOUR time to SHINE in the Dr. Sketchy’s SPOTLIGHT!

    We are currently accepting submissions for the show.

    Deadline is NOVEMBER 15th.

    Sketchers meet Safi

    Safi is a seasoned and well known belly dancer in Japan. From Cairo to Tokyo to San Francisco these hips were made for moving. This 11 year veteran of the dance best known for it’s mesmerizing hip shimmy will grace The Dr. Sketchy’s stage this month as she transforms that shimmy into a truly hypnotic (pun very intended) burlesque performance sure to leave your sketchpads smoldering. Safi began performing burlesque in earnest in early 2007 and has since toured Japan leaving a wake of drooling patrons in her path.
