    With web hits reaching up to 100 daily and media recognition both online and in print Dr. Sketchy’s Tokyo has grown from it’s humble blogosphere wall flower beginnings to a facebooking, mixi loving, mass media courting Tokyo sensation in both the art and burlesque community and we feel like celebrating!

    For one night and one night only we are inviting all artists to BRING your PAINTS, OILS, ACRYLICS, WATERCOLORS, INK…no medium is too messy for Dr. Sketchy’s WET anniversary party! Pencils and sketchpads are of course always welcome. Dr. Sketchy model and dynamic co-host Cherry Typhoon will perform her show stopping, heart thumping, foot stomping burlesque show that’s sure to make jaws drop, eyes pop and paint splatter!

  • Nipped Tucked and back in ACTION!

    Our old site had a little “work” done this summer and is now back with more user friendly features which include up to the minute updates on Facebook, information in Japanese on Mixi, a new FAQ section for all you newbies out there, an awesome new Sketchy design team and more artastic fun than you can shake a stick at! We kick off our Fall season with Safi, a veteran of the belly dancing world and absolute sensation of the underground Burlesque scene here in Japan. More details to come! Our new staff is dedicated to bringing forth edgier themes, outrageous contests and scouting hot professional burlesque talent from every corner of Tokyo. So whether this is your first time holding a sketch pad or your work is on display at the top of Roppongi Hills there is sure to be a little Sketchtastic excitement for everyone!
